Education and Training

Claudia Graziadei began her musical studies in 2009, focusing on jazz vocals at the Musikschule Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg in Berlin, where she trained until 2012. She continued her education at the Conservatorio B. Marcello in Venice, graduating in 2015 under the guidance of soprano Sabina Meyer. In February 2021, she earned her Master’s degree (Biennio) in Renaissance and Baroque Singing with Gemma Bertagnolli at the Conservatorio A. Pedrollo in Vicenza.

Early Music Performance

In the field of early music, she has participated in three Baroque opera productions at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza. Her roles include Cupid in Henry Purcell’s King Arthur, the choruses of L’Orfeo, and the role of Amore in the Prologue of Claudio Monteverdi’s Il Ritorno di Ulisse in patria, working with director Cristina Deda Colonna, mezzo-soprano Marina De Liso, and baritone Furio Zanasi.
Since 2017, she has been a soloist with the Cappella Marciana at St. Mark’s Basilica in Venice. From 2017 to 2019, she performed with the Schola San Rocco in Vicenza, directed by Francesco Erle. In July 2024, she joined the Vocal Academy of the Capella de Ministrers in Valencia. From May to September 2025, she performed as a soloist for the Baroque ensemble Interpreti Veneziani at the Church of the Pietà in Venice.

Contemporary Music and Performance Art

In the contemporary scene, she has worked as a solo singer for Teatro Malibran (Venice) and Teatro Mario Dal Monaco (Treviso) in four operatic productions by composers Luca Mosca and Giovanni Mancuso.
From May to October 2019, she performed at the 58th Venice Art Biennale in the Lithuanian Pavilion (winner of the Golden Lion) for the opera-performance Sun & Sea (Marina) by Lina Lapelyte, Rugile Barzdziukaite, and Vaiva Grainyte. She is currently part of the cast for the opera’s ongoing world tour.
In 2021, she won the 6th edition of the Michiko Hirayama Scholarship for contemporary vocals, sponsored by the Fondazione Isabella Scelsi. On this occasion, she presented the recital Aurora, inspired by the music of Scelsi, which she composed and performed herself.
In the last years she collaborated with international artists such as Alex Cecchetti, Cally Spooner and Gabrielle Goliath.
In November 2026 at Chaillot in Paris she will debut with Hiya Compagnie directed by the choreographer Dalila Belaza with the piece Un peu pour mon coeur.

Bands and Collaborative Projects

Since 2010, she has collaborated in an acoustic duo with double bassist and producer Micha Kaplan in Berlin, performing original compositions as a singer and guitarist. Their duo, Micha and Claudia, released their debut album Du Bist in 2020 and is currently working on their second album, Berlin Nord. She is also a member of Hauswasser, a radical improvisation ensemble founded by Micha Kaplan in 2014, which performs regularly in Berlin.
As a composer, she created and recorded her first soundtrack for Elena Griggio’s medium-length film Imago in August 2025. In February 2025, she began collaborating with visual artist Sara Tirelli on Hydrocene, an immersive visual and sound installation.

Didactic and Community Outreach

Alongside her performing career, Claudia Graziadei has developed extensive experience in music education and community-led workshops.
From 2013 to 2019, she taught choral singing and piano to children at the Venetian associations La Luna nel pozzo and La cicala e la formica. This connection to the local community led her, in October 2016, to assist Giovanni Mancuso for a “conduction” workshop addressed to secondary schools as part of the Biennale Educational program.
In recent years, her pedagogical work has been characterized by prestigious collaborations and inclusive projects. Between 2023 and 2025, she conducted Nuvolando, a musical theater workshop for children (ages 3–6) funded by the City of Venice in collaboration with Palazzetto Bru Zane (Centre de musique romantique française). Since 2021 till now, she is leading Corolab, an adult choral singing workshop based in Venice.
Her commitment to social inclusion is reflected in projects she run in Venice, such as Red Carpet for All (2024), where she served as a choral instructor for an inclusive weekly course dedicated to the elderly and people with disabilities, and the workshops within the program Rising bodies, inner moves: Voice from the seabed committed by Ocean Space. Furthermore, for the 2024–2025 academic year, she holds the position of Professor of Music Pedagogy at the Radio Magica Academy in Udine, a special cultural post-diploma Academy for young adults with disability.
